About

Welcome to Learn Natural Building. Whether you’ve decided to build a natural home and want to learn how, or you are just curious and want to know more about natural building, you’ve come to the right place. The purpose of this blog is to teach what natural building is, why you should do it, and how you can pull it off.

About Mark:

Hi, I’m Mark Plemel, the writer of Learn Natural Building. I’m an engineer turned natural builder who wants to teach others what I know about natural building. Learning, building and nurturing are my passions. The first two I can get plenty of building natural homes, and nurturing budding natural builders through this blog is how I can use natural building to get a dose of my third passion. My interest in natural building began in 2015 and that’s when I began learning about it, but it wasn’t until 2019 that I left my engineering job to become a professional natural builder. I will teach you what I learn as I learn it – giving you a learner’s point of view.
